GMEC-EMT uses information from this website to answer questions, arrange training and workplace services, and process enrollment requests. This policy explains what we collect and the choices you have.

Information you provide

Contact forms collect your name, email address, phone number if supplied, service interests and message. Workplace assessment requests also collect company, role, facility, staffing, equipment, training and timing details. Enrollment requests collect the selected program and package, contact and billing information, and notes you choose to provide.

Please do not submit medical records, Social Security numbers, card details or other sensitive personal information through inquiry forms.

How we use your information

• Respond to your inquiry and discuss the services you requested.
• Review enrollment requests, confirm course arrangements and provide related communications.
• Maintain inquiry and enrollment records, operate the website, prevent spam and protect its security.
• Send course news, service information and promotional emails when you separately choose to receive them.

Promotional email consent is optional and is not required to submit an inquiry. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or request removal through our contact page. We may still send messages necessary to answer your request or manage your enrollment.

Cookies and analytics choices

Essential cookies support functions such as form security, shopping carts, checkout and saved privacy choices. These functions may not work correctly if your browser blocks all cookies.

Optional analytics helps us understand page visits and how visitors use course and service pages. Google Analytics is not currently active on this website. Our analytics setup is designed to exclude inquiry text, names, email addresses, phone numbers and other form values. Advertising cookies are not part of the current setup.

Service providers and sharing

Our website host and the providers supporting email, website security, forms and enrollment may process information on our behalf to provide these functions. If analytics is enabled with your consent, Google will process usage information. We do not sell inquiry or enrollment information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety and website security.

Enrollment and payments

The online enrollment process currently submits an unpaid request. No card payment is taken through this website. GMEC contacts applicants to confirm availability and arrange payment. Enrollment records are maintained through WooCommerce and the school's administrative processes.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to handle inquiries, administer training and enrollment, maintain business records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for those purposes. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may ask about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion, withdraw optional marketing consent, or ask a privacy question through our contact page. We may need to verify a request and retain records where necessary for ongoing services or legal obligations.

Linked third-party course platforms and other websites have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as our services change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
