In-Person Night Program

A 12-week program with evening classes from 6–10 PM on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, depending on your selected dates, plus every other Saturday.

Best fit: you value a structured classroom routine.

A 12-week program: 11 weeks online followed by one required in-person week, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, in Fairhaven.

Choose your program dates on the registration page. Four in-person and seven hybrid programs begin in 2027. Each class is limited to 25 students.

Weekly learning

Night students attend classroom sessions. Hybrid students complete online work on a structured timeline. Both formats require study outside the skills classroom.

Hands-on practice

The night format includes in-person practical sessions. The hybrid format concentrates required skills training into an in-person week.

Does completing the course make me a licensed EMT?

Course completion is one step. Certification and state authorization have separate requirements; admissions can help you understand the next steps.

What are the enrollment requirements?

GMEC may require proof of high school completion or equivalent, government-issued photo identification, and current CPR certification if required. Students must be 18 before completing the program. GMEC will confirm the documents and clearances needed before your course starts. All required classes and skills labs must be attended, coursework completed by its deadlines, and practical skills competency demonstrated.

Know what you pay—and when.

EMT tuition is $1,949 for the night program or $2,049 for hybrid. Choose the $500 nonrefundable registration fee now, or pay tuition in full at checkout. The registration fee is included in tuition. Add one required student package: Essential $319, Professional $419 or Premium $519. Materials tax and optional shipping are additional.
