Enrollment Terms

These terms explain how website enrollment requests work. Review the selected program, package, schedule and costs before submitting. GMEC's student handbook and the enrollment documents supplied by the school provide the detailed academic and attendance requirements.

Your request and school confirmation

Review your program dates, package, materials tax and any shipping charges before completing checkout. GMEC reviews your registration and confirms availability and eligibility. A place is confirmed by the school after its enrollment requirements are met.

Registration fee and required package

Choose the $500 registration payment or pay the full program tuition at checkout. A student package is required with either option: Essential $319, Professional $419 or Premium $519. Registration-only payment plus package totals $819, $919 or $1,019 respectively, before materials tax and optional shipping.

The $500 registration fee is credited toward tuition and is non-refundable once paid. Student packages are subject to tax and are available for local pickup or $19.99 shipping. Confirm uniform sizing or accessibility needs with GMEC before payment.

Tuition and additional costs

Night program tuition is $1,949; hybrid tuition is $2,049. Both include the $500 registration fee. If you pay only registration now, $1,449 remains for night or $1,549 for hybrid, which GMEC invoices separately with payment due dates. Choosing full tuition at checkout leaves no tuition balance after successful payment. The required package is additional. An optional printed textbook is available with Essential only for $146.65 plus tax. Choose free local pickup or $19.99 total shipping for the Essential Package and textbook together. Professional and Premium already include a printed textbook.

Certification examinations, licensing and other third-party requirements may involve separate fees. An online enrollment request does not establish financing, an installment agreement or a promise of credit.

Dates, attendance and prerequisites

Check that you can attend all required sessions before committing. Night training includes evening and Saturday attendance. Hybrid training requires online participation and an in-person practical skills week in Fairhaven. Confirm the full cohort schedule, admission requirements and required preparation with GMEC.

Course completion alone does not guarantee certification, licensure or employment. Students must meet the applicable course and credentialing requirements.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Contact GMEC promptly if you need to change or cancel an enrollment request. The $500 registration fee is non-refundable after payment. Ask the school for the applicable written policy for tuition, packages, withdrawals, transfers or a class canceled by GMEC before making payment. This website does not create an additional refund promise.

Accurate information and communications

Provide accurate student and contact details. GMEC uses them to process your request and communicate about your program. Optional promotional email consent is separate from necessary enrollment communications. See our Privacy Policy.
