This course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. The goal of PALS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
Our Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course covers the following:
Perform CPR to pediatric patients.
Recognize cardiopulmonary arrest and begin CPR within 10 seconds.
Differentiate between respiratory distress and failure, as well as unstable and stable patients with arrhythmias.
Perform early interventions for respiratory distress and failure, and the treatment of shock.
Implement post-cardiac arrest management.
This course can be completed with instructor-led training or online followed by skills session. Link below for online portion (sold separately $151). Once completed with online portion students can schedule the skills session at our Fairhaven, MA office.
